What happened to TeeBillz first wife?

After posting and deleting suicide notes on social media indicating that his marriage to Tiwa Savage might be in Trouble, many people are beginning to ask what really happened to Tee Billz’s first marriage? How did Tiwa Savage ‘the diva’ end up marrying a second-hand husband?

What many people don’t know is that Tee Billz was never married to the first woman we all know as his baby mama.

You see, once upon a time, Tee Billz a popular ladies man living in the US fell in love with a lady named Kenea Maete Udoh, a US-based babe. One thing led to another and he got her pregnant. Months later, they welcomed a beautiful baby girl and named her Adebisi Sherifat Balogun.

One would have thought that with a child in the picture, Tee Billz would put a ring on it but like the dashed hopes of many baby mamas, she soon realized that having a baby for a fine young man with pierced ears, six packs and extra money to throw around wasn’t a guarantee at all. True to his playboy character, Tee Billz dropped the bomb on her – he wasn’t ready to commit.

She accepted her fate and continued to paddle their canoe of uncertainty. Three years later, a second thing led to another and she got pregnant again. Months later, they had baby number two- a bouncing baby boy Gaetano.

It was now clear that even though she had a poultry of children for Tee Billz, he wasn’t putting a ring on her finger.

During this time, he met another lady named Tiwa Savage at Timaya’s concert in Los Angeles in 2010. A mutual friend Wale had introduced them to each other. Tiwa in subsequent interviews said she shad always wanted Tee Billz to be her manager but that he constantly refused to pick her calls.

She aspired to be a star back at home and had a good singing portfolio after doing back-up vocals for artistes like Kelly Clarkson, Mary J Blige e.t.c. She was also a budding songwriter who boasted of writing songs for Fantasia, Monica e.t.c. Not forgetting her feat as a background vocalist on Whitney Houston’s 2009 ‘I look to you’ album.

After meeting Tee Billz in person and with such impressive portfolio, he invited her to his office and their journey began as Manager and artist until love stopped by their window.

Their love grew so strong and in February 2013, on her 33rd birthday…

 He proposed to her with a yellow and white diamond ring which was said to have cost about $3,000.

 The proposal met with various reactions, especially shock. Why would Tiwa Savage want to marry a baby daddy? Were they truly in love? Would their marriage last? There were so many questions flying all over the place.

 Meanwhile, a blushing bride-to-be Tiwa had this to say when asked why she agreed to marry Tee Billz.

“A lot of successful women particularly those of us in the showbiz industry find it difficult to find a man that will understand us, a man that will understand when you are not there to cook in the night, clean and look after the children.

“Nobody knows what he has done for me and the sacrifices he has made to make a success out of my career. When I didn’t have any money, he was the one that invested in me. He took a big risk because nobody knew Tiwa then. He paid for my first video, paid for my flight to Nigeria, paid for my dresses and every other thing because I didn’t have any money then. Falling in love with him was not planned, it just happened.

“Accepting to marry him is something I will do over and over again. He is someone who believed in me when nobody believed in me.”

They got married amidst pomp and pagentry. Their traditional marriage held in Lagos while their star-studded white wedding held at the Armani hotel in Dubai.

 Shortly after their marriage, she got pregnant and everyone cooed over her. With the assurance that she was having her own baby, who would be heir to whatever Tee Billz has, she reached out to Tee billz’ daughter Adebisi Sheree on one of her birthdays. She went on social media to wish her a happy birthday.

That move backfired as a disgruntled baby mama fired her on social media saying she hadn’t called to wish her daughter a happy birthday or even seen her before. According to baby mama, she was pretending and only posted the message for her image.

 We never heard any more baby mama drama or scandal until the 28th April, 2016 when Tee Billz took to instagram to drop suicide notes in which he accused Tiwa of sleeping with her music label colleagues Don Jazzy and Dr Sid, as well as Tuface amongst other outrageous accusations. One thing people were quick to note however, was that contrary to public knowledge that Tee Billz has a total of three children; Adebisi and Gaetano from Maete Udoh and Jamil a.k.a Jam jam from Tiwa Savage, there was another child named ‘ONAH’. That brings the total number of his kids to FOUR.

Perhaps there is another baby mama yet to come under media spotlight and Paparazzi. Hmmm.

Anyway, celebrity marriages definitely have their own fair share of problems and we hope Tee Billz and her Tiwa Savage pull through this.
